Whether you need them to serve as an isolator of muscle groups, an aid to mobility and endurance or simply as a safety feature, try wearing Versa Gripps® today and see what a difference they can make in your workout!
For those weight lifters who have smaller hands, Versa Gripps® has created the Versa Gripps® FIT Series. The wrist strap part of this style is only an inch thick, compared to the inch and a half dimensions of the other models. The FIT Series is available in Pink and Black to give user some variety to choose from.
With all of the styles of Versa Gripps®, the wrist strap is shaped to comfortably wrap and support the wrist in a funnel shape. This is great because it does not cause a cut off in circulation that traditional lifting straps could cause. Reinforced tough and made with proprietary material, Versa Gripps® remain consistently "grippy" and are designed to be anti-bacterial while also providing protection against calluses. The hand is able to breathe while wearing them as the fingers and thumb have maximum freedom to move.
When using Versa Gripps® for pulling exercises, they should be secure around your wrists, but they should not be tight. They should be able to be spun to the back of the hand when not in use. If this is not possible, they need to be loosened up a bit. Versa Gripps® are to help protect hands and wrists from the possible damage that could occur during lifting.
To use the Versa Gripps®, place the bar between your palm and the gripping part of the Versa Gripps®. With the same hand, use your fingers to wrap the gripping part around the bar. Hold the bar as you normally would, and enjoy your workout! If you have large hands, it is possible to make the gripping part longer by adjusting the strap at your wrists to give you more material to wrap around the bar.
Versa Gripps® are great for providing hand arch support during pushing exercises! There is an arch support that is built into every pair of Versa Gripps® that is able to serve as a bridge across the arch of the hand. In addition, Versa Gripps® also serve as wrist supports while doing pushing exercises. While doing pushing exercises it is important to keep the wrist strap tight in order to provide adequate support.
To be used as wrist straps, they need to be snug and positioned with the gripping part across the palm of your hands. You then proceed with your pushing exercise as you normally would if you were not wearing the Versa Gripps®.
