Fitness Heroes to Follow in 2019

 

We all need a little fitness inspiration in our lives, so we compiled a list of some of our favorite fitness heroes to inspire us to live healthier in 2019. From squat queens to bodybuilding champs. These fitness influencers are motivating us to eat right, stay fit, and be body positive.

 

 

Jay Maryniak had a tough life; from alcohol and drug abuse to later being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Jay decided to turn his life around through a consistent fitness routine. Jay's determination encourages people of all walks of life to value fitness and use it as a catalyst for a better life.

Today, Maryniak has an avid following on Instagram, where he posts daily workouts including kickboxing, calisthenics, powerlifting, bodybuilding, and gymnastics.

 

 

Meg is the founder of Strong Strong Friends, a coaching company with a mission of getting a barbell in every woman's hands.

She has coached hundreds of powerlifters! Her passion for lifting has prompted her to start a YouTube channel that she now uses to give fitness advice and empower women. You can find Meg on her Youtube series; I Train Like a Pro, Train Like a Fitspo, or catch a quick lifting tip or fitness advice with 5 minute Friday.

 

Shaun T, also known as the "Insane Trainer" is all about transformation. He grew in popularity from his Hip Hop Abs workout program and Trust and Believe podcast. Shaun is also an advocate for survivors of sexual abuse which is something he encountered as a young boy.

His at home workout videos are fun, upbeat, and will keep you moving. If you want an uplifting and motivational fitness coach, then Shaun is perfect for you!

 

Bobby Maximus is a former police officer and UFC fighter. He doesn’t put up with excuses and will motivate you to go above and beyond your typical workout routine.  Bobby will push you to strive for your best every single day.

 

Kelsey Wells is the ideal fitness hero for mothers. She is a personal trainer, wife, and mother that focuses on helping women of all stages in life to nourish and power their body. She gives daily advice on strengthening your self-love through fitness. Kelsey uses fitness to feel more confident which in turn she says helps her take better care of her family.

 

Jeff Seid is a young fitness hero, having trained since the age of 12. Jeff is both a bodybuilder and fitness model.  At the age of 18, he became the youngest International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness professional in history. Since 2012, Jeff has accomplished ten titles claiming first place in half.

Jeff now shares his insights and fitness tips online through social media and his training program.

 

Janine Delaney also known as the jump rope queen, helps people realize that being fit is not just about the way you look. It’s about being healthy in mind, body, and soul. At the age of 48, she does everything, from professional ballet to teaching exercise and nutrition classes to competing in figure skating competitions.

Janine provides workouts, and nutrition tips along with other motivational tools for staying fit.

  

Dylan Werner is a yoga instructor who showcases his range of motion through his photos on Instagram. He specializes in strength and flexibility training to improve mobility. Dylan teaches us that strength and flexibility go hand in hand. You will most likely see him on your feed striking impressive yoga poses all around the world.

 

 Camille Leblanc-Bazinet is an international weightlifting competitor. She is a fitness expert, speaker, and educator. In the 2014, CrossFit Games she won the title: “Fittest Woman on Earth.”

Camille is known for redefining the image of health and beauty. She loves educating and coaching athletes of all walks on exercise, nutrition, a healthy lifestyle, and self-image. Camille is known as one of the most popular athletes in fitness and a figure of strength and beauty.

 

 Dave Durante is a USA gymnastics national champion. After retiring, he began coaching at his alma mater, Stanford University, leading them to an NCAA Team Title in 2009.

Dave currently manages Team Power Monkey which is comprised of elite athletes and coaches who help design new equipment, provide gymnastics education to the fitness world.

 

Joanne Encarnacion started her fitness and health journey in 2013, which she documented on Instagram with the hashtag #gofitjo. She empowers women to redefine health, beauty, life, and love and to embrace being a woman in progress.
